The house is absolutely beautiful, and the hosts are incredibly kind and responsive. One of the things I loved the most was that when I arrived, there was a little note and a gift waiting for me. I was also pleasantly surprised by the location—just five minutes from the mountain. Everything was amazing. I will definitely be coming back! ⛷️❤️

My family stayed here for spring school vacation at the end of April. This is an excellent place to stay this time of year. The location was really close to the market, restaurants, and Killington or Pico mountains. We didnt ski, but found an awsome place to mountain bike and hike with the dog within a 5 minute drive. The days we stayed in we were able to use the beautiful pool, hot tub and sauna just a short walk away. The home was very neat, clean and exactly as advertised. Games, puzzles and well made kitchen supplies made the evenings very comfortable here. We hope to be back next Spring.

My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at SugarBear in The Woods in Killington this last weekend. I very much appreciated how clean the home was, from the kitchen, to the bathrooms, to the bedrooms. The furniture was very comfy and we took full advantage of the huge TV to watch some scary movies this Halloween holiday weekend! Killington access road was a bit quiet (stick season in VT right now) but there were still plenty of places to grab a good lunch or dinner. My niece used the Woods' work out equipment, pool, and hot tub several times and mentioned the helpful staff manning the amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo in Killington. Very comfortable, quiet, spacious accommodation near Killington ski resort. Dan and Holly gave great directions and helped out quickly when we had a problem with the thermostat. Kitchen was well equipped. Tons of towels. Many, many mirrors.
Convenient location for restaurants, bars, hiking, and skiing. Highly recommended.

The location is great, especially if you love the outdoors (hiking, biking, swimming holes). Highly suggest Buttermilk Falls!

We enjoyed our stay at Dan & Holly’s! It was a perfect size for the 2 of us and our 2 pups. It would’ve been more than big enough for another couple to join especially with 2.5 bathrooms. The main area was so comfortable and relaxing. It was perfect for our long weekend of both adventuring and relaxing.
The Spa/fitness center were included in the stay and they both were so clean. The Woods Spa is a short walk down the road (5 minutes) from this location

It was the perfect space for our family. The on-site amenities were great. The pool space was super clean and the staff was amazing. Downtown Rutland was a short drive, and there was so much to see just minutes from the property. Dan & Holly are extremely responsive and truly think of everything. Clean, cozy house with comfortable beds, great cookware with a gas stove and perfect amenities at the Spa Woods. Nothing better than sauna, steam room and swim after a full day of skiing. Then come home to relax in front of the fire. Also pet friendly without any sign of a pet being there before.

We had a fabulous stay at Dan & Holly's over Christmas 2024! The accommodations were very comfortable for our small family of 3, plus our dog. Everything was spelled out in the instructions so check in was a breeze. We cooked all of our meals there, so a good kitchen is important to us. They had everything we needed, plus some extra spices. The Wood's community was lovely for long walks with our dog. There is a Spa there we would like to try next time. Dan and Holly were always available for any questions and responded quickly. The location to Killington Ski Resort is fantastic. We would definitely return again.

Dan & Holly's place is comfy, quiet, and super convenient to Killington Resort. It's located right off the mountain access road, but feels very private with a beautiful view of the woods and mountains it's surrounded by. The beds are comfy, the living space is perfect for relaxing and watching a movie, and the kitchen has everything you need. Would definitely stay here again!

Had a great Thanksgiving at Holly and Dan’s place. It had everything we needed, very cozy, nicely decorated, with all the amenities you might want. There was a big snow storm one day, but the road were quickly cleared once the snow stopped. My kids enjoyed the pool and my husband the sauna.
Holly and Dan also left us some thoughtful welcoming gifts including coffee which was a lifesaver since we forgot to pack some. Would definitely recommend and stay there again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dan & Holly’s. The condo was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful & the fall foliage was beautiful. Access to the fitness center & spa were a welcome added bonus. Overall, a wonderful few days of rest and relaxation.

Our recent stay at Dan+Holly's condo in Killington, Vermont, was nothing short of spectacular. Really clean, loved having two rooms with king sized beds and en-suite bathrooms, living area was very comfortable, and location was very convenient for nice hikes, and casual good food. Pool and hot tub in clubhouse were clean, not at all packed, and a very nice bonus. Dan and Holly were SUPER responsive. Housing regulations don’t allow for air conditioning throughout so can get a little warm in heat of the summer, but opening windows (with screens) at night let the rooms cool down enough to be comfortable.

Staying at the Woods is always a special treat. The amenities are great - pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, gym, full service spa. You can’t beat it. While you are staying an a condo the place still feels very private and the complex lives up to its name maintaining just enough forest to still feel woodsy. Nice paved roads to walk or run. Close to so many fabulous restaurants and activities at the resort and the surrounding area.
Dan and Holly were excellent hosts. Very responsive and proactive. The little “welcome to Vermont” gift set was an amazing touch. Their place was comfortable, spacious, and filled with tons of natural light. The cow puzzle was a fun rainy day distraction. ☺️
This was easily one of the cleanest Airbnbs we have stayed in recently.
Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again when my family comes to visit us in Killington.

We had a great stay at Dan and Holly‘s place. It was the perfect amount of space for the 3 of us and had everything we needed. We cooked dinner a couple of nights and the kitchen had what we needed. We did lots of day trips and the condo was in a good location to access the many towns we visited. There was enough to do locally for the day we explored Killington.
The condo community center was great but unfortunately, we only got to use it one day because of the limited hours. Wish they opened earlier or stayed open later for use of the gym. We enjoyed the pool.
Dan and Holly were in communication at every step to make sure we had everything we needed and did not have any issues. Highly recommend their condo if you’re visiting Killington.

Dan & Holly offer a great stay in a great location! They were so incredibly helpful prior to our stay and had a welcome basket waiting for us upon arrival. They also sent a comprehensive guide that was helpful for checking in and out, but also for making plans around the area. Their place was so clean and cozy; we felt instantly at home staying here! We loved the location and the additional amenities available at The Spa, but even when we were staying in, it was a great place just to relax. I wish the weather cooperated more but I did get a chance to sit out on their back deck a few mornings, which was a great spot to read and relax. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone traveling to Killington!

This was probably our best Airbnb stay ever, based simply on how wonder Dan and Holly are as hosts. They were uber proactive from the moment we booked and always very responsive. Everything we needed was outlined in a digital guidebook they put together.
Once we arrived the place was even better than expected... Lots of space, cute decor, and Vermont themed welcome gifts from Dan and Holly.

This place was very nice! This was our first time in Killington and we'd definitely go back. The house was very clean. The kids loved the bunk beds and having their own bathroom. We were snowed in one day. We took the kids swimming at the pool and just hung out at the house. We had pizza delivered the first night (iPie) and went out to eat our last two nights (Jax Food & Games and Charity’s Salon - both very good!) We’d stay at this property again!

Holly and Dan were terrific hosts and their home was wonderful. We felt right at home in their cozy two-bedroom condominium. It was also great in that it was within walking distance of the spa and fitness center, which we used everyday. We highly recommend their home.

Having owned a similar unit at the Woods this condo made us home-sick. Nice new appliances, spotless cleaning, fast wifi, and comfortable furniture make for an enjoyable stay. Cluster units like this one have a foyer which is a big plus when skiing or keeping the dogs out of the way getting in and out of the unit. We would stay here again and highly recommend this unit.

Amazing option nearby Killington! I stayed with my husband, mother, and our two children (one slept in a pack-and-play) and their apartment was the perfect size for us. This was our second stay with Dan & Holly and I would recommend their properties because they ensure comfortable beds and updated decor/ linens. Communication is easy and prompt. We have stayed at Killington many times because it is our favorite mountain. Sugar Bear was the best unit we've stayed in. The living space is spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed - we do a lot of our own cooking while skiing for a week. Beds were comfortable. We also loved that we could bring our dog. Having access to a hot tub/ pool is a must for us when skiing and The Woods spa facility is very nice. We will definitely stay at Sugar Bear again!

Dan and Holly’s condo was probably one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed. Took our son and 13 yr old grandson on a trip to Killington to ski. Condo seemed even bigger than the photos showed. While the boys skied I enjoyed the Spa at the Woods. Had the pool to myself as I swam laps, hot tub and fitness center were excellent too.
On arrive the cable was not working but Holly contacted the condo manager who drove over from his home and worked with the cable company to restore the programming ….was fixed within the hour. Would stay/recommend this condo . A great time was had by all.

Area was welcoming and loved the board games they have available for guests. Overall, great amenities. The in-door pool which just down the hill from this unit was great. The gym was never crowded and was very clean. The spa area also has a tennis court which we were able to use while there. The unit itself was cozy, with a clean kitchen, with all the essentials. We cooked in for our entire stay and never felt like we were missing anything. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a really thoughtful gift. Can’t wait for our next vacation in Vermont. Our stay at Dan and Holly’s place was relaxing, peaceful and comfortable. The unit is in a row of several townhomes but still very quiet and private and surrounded by the woods but not deep in a forest. Still, we managed to see a black bear in the backyard peacefully meandering by minding its own business. Their place has all of the amenities one needs for a getaway. The welcome gifts were a special treat - thank you. Locally, we highly recommend the ice cream from Mad Hatter’s Scoops and want to give the young ladies who work there, a special shout out for recommending Kent Pond for a stunning view near sunset. The trek at Thundering brooks trail (very near by) was a highlight.

Lovely place for a family trip. We were there during a time of flooding so spent a lot more time in the house then planned - the spaciousness, mix of board games and access to a heated indoor pool ensure we were comfortable and had things to do as a family. Great hosts-their place was immaculate, and felt like a cozy resort. Bedding was hotel quality. The only issue to be aware of is the master shower is attached to a huge tub. So it’s a little high to get in and out of. Not a problem for all, but sometimes to know.
Killington is a great town and is definitely come back to stay here.

This place was absolutely a dream come true! we wanted a specail couple day get away and this place was that and so much more!! The beauty of this place when you walk in! I literally want the blueprints so I can build my home like this!! it was so peaceful! no noise or crazy neighbors! and one of the most important things to me were my 2 fur babies!! they allowed them to enjoy this with us! I could write pages of how happy we were! the HUGE Jacuzzi in the master suite was a fairytale! it was exactly as described and so much more! I even messaged about sponges and soap and they had someone come within minutes wit a bag full of kitchen necessities! We were even left a gift card, pound of maple coffee and maple syrup! I could go on and on!! I can not wait to come back and stay again!! Thank you for an amazing experience for myself, my hubby and my baby girl and of course our fur babies!!! if I could give 10 stars I sure would!!!

Dan and Holly are phenomenally good, communicative hosts / hostesses, who offer guests a truly lovely stay. Their unit, located in the Woods development, is within spitting distance of the spa (with a lap pool, exercise room, and -- for guests over 14 -- a hot tub, sauna, and steam room) and a 5-10 minute drive of the gondola at Killington.
The development seems dog friendly (big huge plus in our book; our guy passed away recently but we enjoy freeloading off neighborhood dogs walking their people!) and is generally beautiful, with small six-unit condos separated from one another by a short stretch of road and -- yes -- woods. There are a few very good restaurants in the vicinity (we loved the Foundry) and small grocery stores nearby. For larger grocery stores, you do have to drive to Rutland, which is about 20 minutes away.
Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with spices, and we so appreciated the welcome gifts. Thanks for a great stay!

First and foremost, I want to highlight what exceptional hosts Dan & Holly are. We were greeted with a personal note and WELCOME gifts, which made us feel like friends rather than clients. They checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was OK (it was MORE than OK - it was near perfect). We chatted back and forth throughout our stay. I really can't say enough about how comfortable they made us feel.
As for the space... it's stunning, well designed, and homey. It felt like "ours" almost immediately. Two bedrooms, each with en suite bathrooms, PLUS a half-bath (with full laundry room) worked perfectly. And the multi-levels were GREAT for privacy.
The location is wonderful... there are several small clusters of units nestled in various wooded locations, so it feels very private. And the woods are lovely. The complex is conveniently located, within easy driving distance to restaurants, nightlife, hiking trails and skiing (I have to note that we are NOT skiers, but skiers would enjoy the proximity to the slopes).
To summarize: we had a really good experience here, and our already planning a return visit next Fall.

Sugar Bear was the perfect Vermont retreat. The property is easy to find, has convenient parking, and is conveniently located close to the stores and entertainment. It is spacious and peaceful. This place is well located in the heart of Killington. very quiet and far away from the road. it has big spacious rooms. everything is VERY clean, they provide all that we needed. it has 2 seperate bedrooms far apart so you hear the kids in the other room. :)
all the basic are covered. We would go back during the skiing season.
