Our family of 7 had a brief stay at the end of our New England vacation in this beautiful home. The home is as described in both the amenities and pictures. The location is secluded, yet near a local grocery and other businesses. We enjoyed the large living room, outdoor seating areas, fire pit and cooked a family dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. There is plenty of room to spread out between the 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Dan and Holly were excellent to communicate with throughout the entire process, always checking in to ensure our stay was wonderful. They even left some Vermont welcome treats! I highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home!

Honestly one of the best places we've stayed. The house was gorgeous and you could tell it's really well taken care of — nothing felt worn out or thrown together. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed without having to hunt around for anything.
Dan and Holly were great. Any time we had a question they got back to us quickly, which we really appreciated. They also pointed us toward some local spots to check out during our stay, and their suggestions did not disappoint.
The whole trip just felt easy, which is honestly all you want when you're trying to relax. We'd go back without hesitation and would recommend this place to anyone heading to Killington.

Fantastic spot! We celebrated Easter and my mother’s 91st birthday. She was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. Clean, bright—cute welcome gifts!!—well appointed kitchen— it literally had everything we needed. It’s centrally located and a very short ride to the ski base. Our group had a wonderful stay here! The house was very clean and thoughtfully designed for guests. We relished the hot tub (got properly hot even in the freezing temps!), cooked large meals easily, and slept comfortably. The location also can’t be beat for skiing, and we were glad to be a literal minute away from groceries. Holly and Dan were fantastic hosts, very communicative and made us feel at ease. We’d gladly stay here again!

The space was incredible! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. We were welcomed with a hand written note from the hosts, Vermont welcome gifts, and a guide for the area. We were impressed with how clean the place was. Comfiest beds we’ve ever slept in. We were on the mountain all day and were able to come back and spend time in the hot tub & relax. We mostly cooked at home and found all the utensils needed. We also made use of the board games and decks of cards! We had no issues throughout the stay but still kept in regular contact with the hosts who were very responsive. Can’t wait to book this place again!!

Beautiful Hole in the heart of Killington. Amazing getaway for a ski trip. 5 Minutes from the K1 lodge and super close to all restaurants, markets, and shops. The home was spotless and so cozy/homey. Holly and Dan were fantastic! They were super quick and easy to communicate with. The home was beautiful and the layout was excellent for our group of 8.
It was spotless with stunning royal decor. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked. Big lovely dining room. Big cozy living room. Bedrooms were comfortable and clean. Hot tub was perfect. Fire pit for s’mores.
This home offered everything needed. Peacefully secluded, but just a short drive to town and all of our loved activities!

This is a fantastic airbnb location that easily absorbed our group of 13. The surrounding trees give a sense of privacy, and the fire pit and hot tub were both enjoyed.
The kitchen was well stocked (it had a stand mixer!) and there were plenty of cups and utensils.
We'd definitely stay here again.

Great accommodations in Killington Vt. Very comfortable and clean with plenty of amenities. Fire pit, hot tub, and charging stations were a nice convenience. Rooms, bathrooms and livings spaces were all spotless. Kitchen had everything you could think of for cooking and dining in. The little things were well thought of such as plenty of towels, soap dispensers in each shower, small toiletries in each bathroom. Lots of space to spread out. Great experience and owners were very responsive and helpful.

I booked this place for a big group of 14 people which included my elderly parents , uncle aunts including my family, kids and uncle's family. I feel great to choose this place as its very beautiful , very clean , peaceful and lots of space for the big family. Lots of activities in the house for kids and the grownups as well. We enjoyed hike and view waterfall and picnic around the Plymouth lake state park. Dan and Holly were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and quick to answer any question that i asked. We made some great memories at this house and will definitely come to stay in the future. Overall I give this house , Dan and Holly a 5 star rating.

Enjoyed our stay at RoyalBear! Lots of elbow room for kids and adults. Easy Check in, very clean, Kitchen was well appointed, and the hosts were responsive to questions during our stay. Nice touch with the locally made maple syrup and coffee as well as a personal note welcoming us! Convenient location as we wanted to take in the sights in Waterbury, Barre, Killington and Woodstock. Only negative was the main upstairs bedroom AC. Made the room extremely damp but without it on it was very warm. That being said, would definitely recommend to family and friends traveling as a large group and would stay again! Thank you for helping us make some great family memories with our children and grandchildren!

The Royal Bear is a great place and centrally located from all the area attractions. We stayed with our parents and kids and everyone had something to do inside the house as well as outside during summer time. Dan and Holly were very helpful throughout the process and provided good instruction, also were very responsive of any queries. We would definitely love to stay there again.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home and we were so pleased with the size of the home as it accommodated 9 people without difficulty. The home was spotless and provided us with a much relaxing vacation as we were able to have fires and make smores in the back yard as well as utilize the hot tub as well. We had a group of 9 people, and the house was very accommodating. The master bedroom was beautiful! We stayed the end of May but it was very chilly, and rainy that weekend so we utilized the fireplaces which were very nice! The heated floors were also amazing! The house had all the amenities. A fire pit with firewood which we did not get to use due to the weather, and a hot tub which we did get to use. Great place for a family or group, we will absolutely stay again! The host were also great! Very kind, very accommodating and quick to respond if we had questions.

Our group of 10 all had a fantastic time at this property! Location to Killington slopes and venues couldn't be better (5 mins to K-1 without traffic). We enjoyed the spacious living room/dining room and kitchen, and especially the "hunting cabin" decor theme. The hot tub was in regular use by all ages and provided a nice view of the slopes in the distance. The 5 kids (9-18) enjoyed the game area, and bedding layout was a good match (we didn't even use a room that has a twin bunk bed in it). The kitchen amenities were decent, and the beds were comfortable. We brought our dog, and she enjoyed the 3x/day walks through the neighborhood. The value was really great for this place, although in full disclosure we were there in "offseason" for skiing (April 16-20). The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. Overall, we all had a most enjoyable time and certainly would stay here again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place! Absolutely one of the best air b&b we have stayed at. Relaxing beautiful just perfect. Walked around neighborhood in the mornings while drinking coffee and view of the killington mountain Was only a few minutes to drive to Killington mountain. When we got to Killington to ski/snow board.. Parking was easy. Home is so close to everything and right off Killington road. We all had the best sleep we had in a long time at this home! Loved!

We had an incredible stay at this cozy and warm home in Vermont! The space was thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. The hot tub was the perfect way to end our evenings, and the beautiful views from the property made it even better.
Being within walking distance of town was so convenient, allowing us to explore local shops and restaurants with ease. The fireplace added a magical touch, creating the perfect ambiance for chilly nights.

This place was well located in the heart of Killington. The home was spacious, bright, and clean. The hosts were rapid with responses and accommodated some additional needs, like an adapter for the EV charger. There was plenty of bedding, common spaces, and outdoor space for the 10 adults in our group to spread out.

We stayed for a bike trip at Killington. The home was very beautiful and spacious. It was in a great location for Killington. Only a few miles to the resort, close enough to the main road to get to the restaurants but far enough for total privacy. Large living room and open layout with kitchen and dining room.
Host provided everything as needed and addressed minor things quickly as we asked. Would stay there again if we're up there.

This house was absolutely perfect for our group of 10 skiers. We especially enjoyed using the outdoor grille and crystal clear hot tub as well as the indoor games. The house was clean as a whistle and had plenty of options to keep us entertained during the evenings. The icing on the cake is dealiing with the owners, Dan and Holly who couldn't have been more attentive to our needs and pleasant to deal with. Our experience at this location is a perfect 10 !!

The house was a perfect stay for our ski trip! It was cozy and comfortable for our group of 13 -- a big plus that everyone had a bed. The location to restaurants, bars and the market was great since you could easily walk or take a short drive. Driving to the base parking lots was also easy.
The hosts were also incredibly helpful and responsive. They were proactive about providing bottled water and dropped of 3 cases early in the morning. Thanks again!
Overall this was a memorable stay and we look forward to coming here again.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Royal Bear. Perfect for a big group ski trip at Mt Killington and surround mountains.
Located right in the middle of Killington, there’s grocery stores, liquor stores, restaurants and night life all walking distance from the house. The house was spotless when we checked in and beautifully presented.
Dan & Holly were very proactive and clear with communication, even checking in with us the day after we arrived to make sure everything was going ok.
The hot tub, electric fireplaces underfloor heating were all already on and heated for our arrival. A great touch!
The house is fitted out with everything you need and we could not recommend enough! 6/5 stars!!

We just returned from our second stay in as many years and can't say enough good things. Dan and Holly are terrific host and the property is immaculate. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and we all enjoyed the Foosball and Basketball in the game room. The location is perfect for a visit to Woodstock and Killington. We're looking forward to going back next year.

Stayed here with 4 of my friends to spend a weekend outdoors mountain biking and hiking. Place was beautiful, clean and well kept. Minutes away from activities, restaurants, the market etc. this made the stay very convenient. The hot tub was a great way to unwind after a day of activities. Dan and Holly were very responsive to any questions and made us feel right at home. Would definitely recommend for families with kids as well.

what can I say other than if you are looking for a cozy getaway in a beautiful home, book the Royal Bear! this is our second time booking with holly and dan! Their airbnb's are tastefully decorated!
The house was the perfect stay for my family of 10! It was very spacious and clean! the location is also a plus. there are nearby grocery stores and a cute like cafe/restaurant called Liquid Art that had the most delicious Maple Latte!
holly, the host is super quick with her responses! I don't think I've seen better communication thus far in all my years of using Airbnb. if there is something you need fixed or tended to, she is quick to send people to the house! couldn't ask for better hosts!
believe me, you won't regret booking with Holly and Dan and their many different airbnbs!

This was my first airbnb experience and it was so amazing there house was super clean so spacious and so comfortable! This place and the hosts want me to use this app more now that I had a great experience! The hot tub was already set up an ready to go when we got there and clean the bed in the master bedroom was the comfiest bed I have ever slept on and it was really close to some great restaurants and local markets and wasn’t super far from anything that tourists want to go to definitely would come back here again! This home in Killington was perfect for our end of season ski trips. Conveniently located off the access road, minutes to the mountain and all the great restaurants and shops Killington has to offer. The home provided plenty of comfortable sleeping quarters for our group. A nice kitchen for making meals. And a great living room to relax and socialize in. The hot tub was a great amenity after a day long day on slopes.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful cabin. It's walking distance to nightlife and restaurants (Pickle Barrel and Sushi Yoshi), and very close to the mountain. The place was spotless, and they even left us a few local Vermont gifts to welcome us. The home was absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean. They were extremely accommodating and flexible to our needs. Highly recommend for a large group!

Our group of 8 skiers who have been getting together for 35 years at various ski areas found this house to be as good as it gets. The location 5 minutes from the lifts, ample parking for many cars, plenty of beds, a spotless house with a well stocked kitchen and excellent layout of amenities for maximum group interaction was just perfect. Further, all the fun stuff really added to our enjoyment including the rear deck with adjacent hot tub, putting game, twin basketball hoops and foosball game. The icing on the cake was the owners Holly and Dan who were very responsive to our every need and couldn't have been nicer to communicate with. If you are lucky enough to get it, this place is truly a first class experience.

I can Not say enough great things about this place, we had an amazing time with a large group of couples and this place fit us all comfortably. spacious common areas with cozy Vermont ski details all over. Plenty of towels and comfortable beds .. what more could you ask for. 10 out of 10 recommend if you are a larger group or family going to killington for a ski weekend. Super walkable to all the restaurants which was also great and an easy drive to the mountain. Hosts were incredibly communicative and all the information was easily accessible.

I can't imagine staying anywhere else in the Killington/Woodstock area. From the moment we walked in I didn't want to leave. The host is prompt with responses and very accommodating. We found the home to be immaculately clean and very well equipped. We'll go back to Killington just for the opportunity to spend more time in this house!

Wow, what a lovely, comfortable, well appointed home! We had a girls reunion of 8 women here for the most relaxing, comfortable weekend. Loved everything about it including the fire pit (thank you for the wood delivery), comfy furniture, ample bedrooms and bathrooms, well stocked kitchen, lovely dining room and all the little extra touches everywhere that welcomed us. Incredible property with enough room for two separate families. Location is prime with added amenities such as wonderful hot tub and a little play room for the kids.
Extremely clean and detailed prior to arrival.
Hosts were wonderful and easily available as we had a minor heating issue.
The host was immediately responsive and came over to evaluate everything.
Extreme attention to detail, as well as their website book regarding the property was quite helpful.
Will definitely consider staying again and coming back for possibly skiing.

Arron, who is the property manager was AMAZING! we got our list of restaurants and places to go from him and that’s all we need. We were a group of 14 (7 couples) in our 30s who travelled to Dan & Holly’s for a much needed friends weekend! It’s been almost 10 years since our last weekend away together…so all of us parents enjoyed the weekend away!
The house was very clean, and cozy in such a cute area. We very much appreciated the clean and crisp bedding, and towels and black makeup towels in the bathroom. Made it feel almost like a hotel.
So many bedrooms and sleeping options made it a comfortable stay for the 7 couples.
The living room and kitchen was so open and made for a nice welcoming gathering space for us to congregate in.
Fully stocked kitchen made group meals a breeze!
We enjoyed sitting by the fire, playing cornhole and listening to music outside. Check in and out were both a breeze. Dan and Holly had great communication and checked in with us to see if we needed anything which was thoughtful!
Overall, we loved our stay and all agreed would go back!

We rented Dan and Holly’s house for the weekend with a few of our closest friends and family to celebrate a birthday in Killington. The house was so gorgeous and very clean. Dan and holly provided a warm welcome gift which was so kind. The bed in the masters room was the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept in and the day bed and bunks were also very comfy. Getting in was easy and the hosts made sure to reach out and make sure we had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing after a long day of skiing and they provided plenty of towels to accommodate. Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, we can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Dan & Hollys place was the perfect weekend place in the mountains! We came up for a birthday with a group of 13! There was PLENTY of space and never did we feel cramped! There were games and an amazing hot tub so when we were home there was plenty to do! This house is walking distance to great food and nightlife and less than 5 minute drive to Killington!
Dan and holly thought of everything!
We had everything we needed to cook a meal for 13 as well as an amazing coffee bar! They even had designated hot tub towels!
Overall AMAZING! Will def stay again if back in Vermont! 10/10 would recommend

I can’t say enough good things about this property and experience! The house was spacious, immaculate, and just minutes to town! I stayed with some of my closest friends and family to celebrate my 28th birthday and Dan and Holly and their fantastic caretaker went above and beyond. The house was in incredible condition and we walked into a beautiful welcome gift. Additionally, they drain and replace the water in the hot tub for each new guest! This really impressed me - I had friends who weren’t planning on using the hot tub until they learned that. I appreciate Dan and Holly going the extra mile to maximize cleanliness and truly provide 5-star service. Truly, everything was perfect! I will be staying here again, thank you so much for the most amazing rental experience!

STOP looking at other places! The Royal Bear Lux Chalet won’t disappoint. It’s so close to the base lodges but super private and quiet. It’s also walking distance to shops and restaurants. Amazing showers, beautiful kitchen, large dining room. Gabe room kept the kids occupied for hours! Hot tub was pristine. Train a family member to be your barista for espresso, cappuccino, etc. Clean, cozy, classy, comfy. We truly couldn’t have more pleased.
