We had such a great stay! The location couldn’t have been better, super close to the mountain, which made skiing so easy and convenient. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a fun trip.
Our host was amazing, very responsive, helpful with any questions we had, and always quick to check in and make sure we had everything we needed. That level of communication really made the experience even better.
Overall, it was an affordable, stress-free stay and we had so much fun. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone planning a ski trip!

We stayed for a couple of days midweek for a last minute ski trip. I actually booked the unit on my way up to Killington around 9:00pm. I was confirmed within an hour. The place was a described, everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was great, about mid way up the main access road, close to everything. Beds were very comfortable, and unit was spotless. Amenities were a great bonus, hot tub, steam room, and sauna right across the street from the unit. I would definitely book this place again on my next trip up,

This is a great getaway house for a ski trip to Killington. Place is nice and clean and only six minutes from the mountain. Hosts were always responsive at all hours of the day to answer questions before our stay. I’d stay here again for sure!

We highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Killington! The condo is located perfectly in a quiet complex. Directly across from the condo is the spa, pool and Wine Bar. You can literally just walk across the street to access the spa and restaurant! It’s truly perfect after a long day of skiing! We also loved being able to bring our dog! The owners Dan & Holly do everything to make you feel welcome and at home! They even had a welcome sign with goodies from the area to share! Just lovely in every way and a special extra touch! We had a great time at Dan & Holly’s place. It is about 8 min drive from Killington Ski resort. On site it has a swimming pool, hot tub, stream and sauna room. The cozy condo is well equipped and we were welcomed with popcorn, local coffee and whole bunch of local information. Everything is perfect! Our daughter is asking us to come back for the next ski season already! Thank you very much and we will definitely come back!

This condo is in a great location and having access to the spa was great. The welcome treats were very nice and everything we needed was there. I realize this is a personal preference, but we felt like the master mattress was very tired and too soft. Not the best night sleep but otherwise a great stay!

I’m absolutely blown away by the hospitality and communication received from our hosts. The property was magnificent for our stay. Everything was better than advertised. I was blessed to have such an amazing home away from home. We traveled 16 hours and needed to have a good meal and full nights rest before a challenging Spartan race. On our arrival we were greeted with a very pleasant welcome surprise. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The bedding was amazing and the bed was ever so comfortable. This was a great hub to explore the area too. I don’t leave reviews often but this was beyond a great experience. It was amazing. I travel a lot for both business and personal reasons. Over the years I’ve found that VRBO’s are NOT all the same. This was the best overall property and experience we have ever enjoyed! Bar none. Looking forward to returning and staying again next year for the next race.

Our stay at Dan and Holly’s place exceeded our expectations. We were welcomed with a charming array of gifts, a spotless condo, kind & proactive communication and a peaceful setting. The beds were super comfortable and that, combined with the cool VT nights and quiet woods made for excellent rest. We had originally planned to be three people staying, but unexpected changed family plans expanded us to six, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Kitchen was well-stocked with appliances and dishes. Even the neighbors were welcoming and chatty! We know the area well, and now have a place where we would be more than happy returning to.

We really enjoyed our time here. The condo is right across the street from the spa and pool. It’s in a wooded type subdivision that is so peaceful and you felt very safe. Restaurants are just 5 minutes down the road. Parking space was right in front and key pad was easy. We visited local towns like Rutland and Woodstock and had a great time. They left some wonderful welcome gifts! I loved that they checked in on us in a day to see if we needed anything. We would recommend.

We absolutely loved FirBear!!! The property was meticulously cared for with tastefully updated design, fun kids rooms and a luxurious master bedroom. Our hosts Holly and Dan were incredible with communication. There was never a moment when we didn’t feel welcomed. From our very clear specific instructions for check in to the check in with us after we’d arrived to make sure everything was in order…everything was handled professionally!!! The welcome goodies from Vermont were so incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We highly recommend FirBear and are looking forward to our next stay!!!! Thank you, Holly and Dan!!!!

Location is perfect - right between Killington and pico mountain, both are within 10 minutes drive. Its about 25 min drive from Woodstock in case you are interested in nordic ski.
Hosts were great, we didn't have a chance to meet, but they seemed to be friendly and acomodative people. Chat responses were almost instant, a minor issue with the sink we had was resolved the same day. They were also kind to accomodate a bit later checkout, which help a lot as we had to pack a lot of baby stuff.
We find the apartment sized fine for a group of four, we stayed in two couples and one new born baby. Accommodating a fifth person would measurably penalize privacy.
I hope I can stay here again next season.

Holly and Dan’s place is fantastic. The condo is spotless and beds are extremely comfortable. The location is very centrally located with many good restaurants nearby. There is a spa located within the condo complex that has a pool and hot tub that you can use while you stay which is directly across the parking lot. I would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic weekend stay with 2 teenage boys and family pup. Responsive owners and easy check in/out. Condo was comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. TV and internet worked well, great layout and beds were comfortable. Ideal proximity to Killington Bike Park and restaurants and the neighborhood was great for walking our dog. The ability to use The Spa was an added bonus…pool/hot tub was wonderful, friendly staff and gym was big. Would definitely return!

The pictures looked great online and I couldn’t wait to rent! Ms. PAC-MAN was so much fun to play!! When I arrived it was as expected, not perfect but close to it. Hidden gem. Booked at Dan & Holly's at the last minute and it proved to be an awesome setup/base of operations for our family for a week's late summer adventure in Vermont. Access to the exceptionally close Spa (just across the road) with gym, heated indoor pool w/ lanes for laps, hot tub, steam room & sauna was a huge hit with our teens (and Mom and Dad too) especially early in the week when the weather was cool/rainy. Killington is a superb base for day trips to VT attractions & hiking trails (e.g., various Appalachian trail access points in the area). Rutland & Woodstock are not far for additional restaurant and grocery options. Dan & Holly are fantastic responsive hosts -- booking at the last minute was so EASY and smooth. We had an issue with the main TV upon arrival and it was addressed quickly. A few of the appliances are a bit dated but work well. A couple of minor maintenance items were reported at the conclusion of our stay and I'm confident they'll be addressed by the hosts.

This condo was amazing! I was excited based on the description but the condo exceeded my expectations. This condo is very close to Killington in a beautiful location. The parking and check-in were easy and we were instantly in love with the space. It was perfect for our family to relax and enjoy our time together. It was very spacious and had lots of amenities. The kids loved the upstairs space, including the Pac man game. The spa is very close and the pool and hot tub were fantastic. I wish we could have stayed longer and cannot wait to return.

Dan & Holly’s airbnb met every expectation! In all honesty, the condo we stayed in was bigger than the pictures presented. Our family of 4 had ample space and their place suited us perfectly during our 4 day trip. Our children loved the upstairs space, furnished with cute beds and video games to play during the evenings. We enjoyed having the option of smart TV’s in every room after long days on the mountain. I would highly recommend having Dan & Holly host your future stay in the Killington area. Lastly, the location was conveniently close to EVERYTHING. We look forward to staying again.

Communication with them was friendly, the house was clean, the bear wall is really amazing. If you plan to come in winter, and the only objective is to rest and use the spa (as we intended) you will have a headache. Why? 1) As children cannot use the hot tub in winter, the only thing left is the pool, which is cold for lower temperatures. This is a problem, so you won't be able to stay in the pool for more than 30 minutes. 2) We had problems with the spa attendant, a bad-tempered lady, I want to forget her. She speaks shouting, and chases you to watch you and her children. If you have children, and you supervise them carefully, like I do, it will take away your peace. Regarding the communication with the spa lady, I would like to emphasize that we were not unpleasant (in our profile, everyone praised the friendly communication, and there are many reviews) With young children, I wouldn't recommend it outside of the summer season when the spa pool will be more tolerable and warm. WE LOVED FIRBEAR!
It ALMOST goes without saying that Holly & Dan are WONDERFUL hosts. This is the second time we've stayed "with them". The whole process of reservations and check-in was easy; they helped us through every step. They checked in with us frequently. They even had welcome gifts for us when we arrived. They were responsive to any of our questions.
What we loved MOST about Firbear are the setting and amenities. The entire condo community is private and wooded. There is a spa that has an indoor pool & hot tub, a well-appointed exercise room, and health and beauty treatments. There is also an outdoor tennis court.
The most stunning feature of FirBear is the woods that surrounded us. It's on the second level, and we felt as if we were living in a (VERY comfortable) tree house.
The condo itself is pretty near perfect - clean & comfortable, with pretty much everything you need for a great stay (including a fireplace). It's particularly well suited to families.

This is the place to stay when visiting Killington! The condo is clean, comfy, and cozy…the beds are amazing…with a contemporary rustic charm. Amenities in the condo are modern and organized for ease of use, and the pool and spa are just a short walk away. A great stay at this modern and super clean unit. Everything was clean, tidy and clutter free. The upstairs loft had an attached bathroom which was handy and helpful with your kids able to have their own zone. All of the beds were super comfortable and the linen was white and clean and they also provided the nicest warm blankets. I’m quite fussy about cleanliness and especially the bed linen and usually go buy (or bring) some of my own but I didn’t need to do this haha. The kitchen is small but a full size fridge and has all you need including a blender which was handy. Parking was directly out the front and the complex was peaceful . This unit is directly across from the spa, pool and tennis courts. Holly was fast to reply and very helpful allowing us a later check out which was very appreciated. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Only comment (not complaint) is that the couch is really old and it’s hard to sit on it comfortably. Maybe they can upgrade the couch soon but this was a very minor aspect of the stay. Great location for skiing and very comfortable for family of 5 (which included 3 teenagers). Loved streaming access and ability to build fire. Greatly appreciated wood near fireplace and maple popcorn upon arrival. Kitchen was well stocked, so we cooked every night but one. Only suggestion would be to add pepper to spice rack (already had pink sea salt). Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Firbear was amazing! The condo was very warm and welcoming. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice it was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. Dan and Holly where great host and gave us lots of information of things to do, and whenever there was a question , they responded immediately. When we do return to Killington, we definitely will be booking Dan and Holly’s place again.

The place was perfect for our quick getaway and our boys loved the bunk beds and loft bed!! Our youngest asked if we could stay forever. I wish kiddo, I wish. We got to enjoy the nearby sites, restaurants and the pool was right across from the unit. We actually braved the cold in our bathing suits it was so close. The place was super clean and comfy. Looking forward to next year!

We loved our stay at Fir Bear. All the little touches were there in addition to complimentary gifts upon arrival. The addition of a swimming pool was perfect after a day out and the beds were amazing. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. My 3 year old loved the bear murals and trying out a bunk bed for the first time.

Great condo for a family. I traveled there for the US Open at Kilington with my two sons (11 & 12 yrs). They really enjoyed the Ms. PacMan and the Nintendo. I appreciated Dan & Holly's communication. We were also pleased to find ground coffee and some cooking basics like cooking spray. I know these are little things but they make all the difference. Thanks!

We loved our stay at Dan and Holly’s condo. A quiet setting with traffic-free roads for walking, adjacent to the spa and within walking distance to a yummy local restaurant. The beds were wonderfully comfortable (much appreciated after a day of hiking - and there are so many trail options in the area). The design touches - especially the loft - were a delight, too. On top of all this, we so appreciated the Vermont-themed welcome basket. Thank you Dan and Holly! Your Fir Bear condo is a true delight.

Spotless and lovely little condo, very welcoming and well run by responsive owners. Out front, a quiet (in summer) circular neighborhood with tennis courts and indoor pool nearby. Forest out back of the little balcony, no grill but there is a wood burning fireplace. Big TV all set up for guests to sign in to streaming services, and the (almost) full-sized Pac-Man was a hit with the kids. Great shower, big tub. Would definitely return to FirBear!

Dan and Holly are excellent hosts. This was my first time using Airbnb and was so relieved to have an amazing experience. They are extremely attentive to every detail of making your stay comfortable and special. They had a welcome gift and hand written note waiting for me and my family upon arrival. The bedding is super soft and comfy, the kitchen was stocked with the necessities for cooking. They even had cooking spray and coffee filters! Super smelling toiletries as well as special black makeup removal towels. Great attention to detail which I love. My boys loved the video games. Dan is a master with the technology of the house. Perfectly set up for our stay. We hiked all around Kent pond which was very close to the house. We also saw a free concert at the base of Killington Mt. This was an incredible experience for me and my family and would highly recommend Dan and Holly’s home.

Communication and check-in was seamless. Property delivered on all that was listed. No need to bring anything as all is supplied. Good location just minutes from Killington resort and centrally located for day trips anywhere in the state. Kids (5-11yr) were over the moon with the very family oriented accommodations. We (and especially our kids) LOVED our stay at FirBear. They already want to go back. Highly, highly recommended. Dan & Holly were wonderful hosts and super responsive. Very clean, and a great place to unwind. The huge TVs with Roku guest mode (allowing you to sign into your own TV subscriptions safely and easily), super NES system, Pac Man arcade, and kids loft area were super nice / fun touches. A+!

The house is really cozy with a fireplace and big blankets. You have everything you need in kitchen and bathroom.So close to swimming pool, it is like you have a pool in your back yard.
The king bed in 1st floor was the best of the best!
Dan and Holly are great hosts. They are kind, responding, and problem solving. Literally like in a few minutes!
It was a great experience to stay their home. I highly recommend.

We had a great stay and would certainly come again. The condo is nicely furnished, clean, and well maintained. It is a great location for exploring the Killington area. The pool/spa is directly across the parking area from the condo which is very convenient. On thing to note is that the "bedroom" on the second floor does not have doors and it is open to below-- it felt more like a loft.

My family of 6 (two adults, kids aged 5, 7, 9, and 11) had a BLAST! This property is ideally located not only in Killington (about 5 minutes to a lift) but right across from the pool/spa. The unit is a great location; upper unit with a nice view of the trees and it is also an end unit with nice light. The upstairs was a HUGE hit with my kids and all of the beds were really comfortable with nice linens and towels. It was very clean and it is clear that the owners put a lot of thoughtful touches into the property. It was a very relaxing, quiet place; I had looked at several other properties and I’m very glad that I picked Fir Bear. The owners were very communicative in advance of the trip and for checkout; an EXTREMELY easy process. We intend to come back and plan to stay again! Thanks for a great visit!

Highly recommend booking at Holly and Dan’s! The location was fabulous; it’s quiet and serene while still being close enough to restaurants, stores, hiking and of course, the skiing scene! even though we are not skiers, we headed to the mountain to check out the late season skiers on the slopes- very cool. 😀 the place itself is awesome, the kids loft/game room was perfect…our 5 year old couldn’t get over that we kept beating him in pac-man (throwback for us!) We loved the pool, hot tub and amenities and there was really no one there so it felt like a private resort. everything was clean, exactly what we expected from the photos and the welcome note and goodies were a sweet touch; we loved the popcorn! thank you so much for a great mini-getaway and we will definitely be back again!

Fantastic Long Weekend!! Fir Bear is the perfect location if you are a family of 4-6. The upstairs bedroom is like a magical tree house our kids loved the original PacMan game. The furnishings are great perfect place to relax after a great day at the slopes. We LOVED the Super Large TV in the main room. It is a great location for access to the pool/hot tub and spa. Right off the main Killington Access Road and is just a short drive to restaurants, stores , and the slopes. Holly and Dan are great hosts definitely try the maple cookies and coffee. We cannot wait to come back!

Terrific location being across the road from the Spa. Nothing better after a day on the slopes having free access to the pool, hot tub and sauna/steam room. Large TV screen next to a natural fireplace will cap the evening. The hosts/owners instructions were excellent and their suggestions for activities and restaurants in the area were top notch. Would not hesitate to return.
