CubsCorner - Pool, Sauna, Gym, Close to Mountain!

A luxuriously large, comfortable and cozy place. With an expansive and well appointed open kitchen, that is open to the large living room for hanging out with a very nice heated fireplace and beautiful surroundings. The sleeping quarters are perfect for a restful night with a lavish restroom. A great place for our weekend ski trip at Killington. A big bonus for us was the use of the Pico Club facilities for our afternoon workouts/sauna after the slopes closed.

Dan and Holly were very accommodating for a last minute booking. Despite a same day request, they were still happy to host us and our dogs.
The space - The interior was up-to-date (plenty of lights and outlets), everything was clean, and the furniture was comfortable (bonus -- there's a propane fireplace that is probably even better during the winter months). We didn't have any issues with the wifi or internet speeds either (strong and fast).
Location - the neighborhood was quiet. We were primarily there for some hiking and found a number of trails a short distance from the house. Downtown Killington is only few minutes away. Rutland (for more stores and food) was only 15 minutes away.
Other things to note - For travelers with pets, bring a dog bed. Also note that the apartment is part of a larger home. It has its own entrance with plenty of privacy. The house is easy to find and there's plenty of parking in the driveway.
We had a great time and will be back to visit the area!

Our stay was so special from the moment we walked in and saw the thoughtful note and gifts on the counter. The checkin instructions were easy to follow and the listing looked exactly like the photos. What a gem for a us and our dog. Though on the bottom floor, it is very private. Easy in on a great covered deck space (though winter!). Looks out into wooded scene with other houses in view, but very quiet and private. So close to everything for ski season, Pico 3 minutes, Killington 15, Rutland 15. We plan to return soon.

Great location if you’re looking to stay close to the mountain. Nice and clean and perfect for a couple. Hosts were accommodating and checked in to make sure everything was perfect. If booking on vbro make sure you are not automatically charged for the early and late check out fees as part of the host fees.

This property is perfect for a couple. We skied both Killington and Pico, Pico being only 2 minutes away. The space is very clean and the bed is very comfortable. The host is very responsive and proactive. Great stay!

Booked this airbnb spontaneously last minute and did not regret it! When we arrived we were surprised to a hand written note and some gifts! The apartment was very clean and the hosts guide/ instructions answered any question you could think of! Best part of it all was that the apartment is less than 5 minute drive to Pico! Can’t beat that. Would love to come back another weekend

The space is large, open, warm and comfortable. It was across the street from Pico where we were skiing for a ski industry event. So, it was terrific for us. Everything was spotlessly clean. Bed-super comfortable and shower was terrific after a day of testing skis on the mountain. I hope this is available next year for the same industry event!

The apartment is fantastic, the surroundings are beautiful and it's very conveniently located between Killington and Rutland. Super dog friendly, we brought our malamute mix Junie and she was ecstatic to play in the yard with all the snow. Dan and Holly are great and super responsive. 10/10 would repeat

Only reason for the price 4 stars is that we got in at 9 pm and out by 10:30am…barely got to use anything other than the bed. They allowed for late check out… Thank you for that. We are doing a drive around Vermont so staying in places overnight only. Would definitely come back with more time.

We enjoyed our stay here! Everything was clean and we loved the view of the gorgeous fall Vermont trees! It was quiet and peaceful! My only recommendation for would be to add blinds to the main doors. Felt a little uneasy with two sliding main doors with no coverings but other than that it was wonderful! We had a great experience!

The apartment was a great place to stay. the bathroom was beautiful. Everything was as advertised. Location outstanding you’re close to the shops food everything . My only issue was the cleaning fee is more expensive than the single night we booked..
Again I would come back but it would have to be more than one night due to cleaning fee. I assume it’s due to the winter but oh well, great place

This Airbnb was truly exceptional! The space was clean, stylish, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The place is super-clean. The bed is really comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful.
The sunsets were beautiful.

If you are looking for a place to stay for a ski vacation in Killington, look nowhere else! This place was really clean, and really close to both Pico (literally across the street) and Killington (10 minute drive) ski areas. We were there for a full week and any question we had, was answered straight away. We even happened to be there when quite a bit of snow came down, and the plow crews were on top of it, making it a breeze for us to still get to the mountain every morning. I could not recommend staying anywhere else in Killington, it was a step above where we stayed last year for sure! Not to mention the warm fireplace after a long day of skiing really hit the spot. Thank you again to Dan and Holly for a great stay!

Wonderful Stay at a Cozy Retreat, amazing location.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made our stay truly memorable. The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, providing us with all the amenities we could wish for and more. The space was immaculate, stylishly furnished, and provided a perfect sanctuary for our ski getaway.
What stood out the most was how close Pico and Killington Ski resorts are. Variety of restaurants within minutes.

We stayed here for a ski trip and the location was ideal being so close to Killington and even closer to Pico Mountain. The kitchen has everything you need and was very clean. We tripped a breaker during our stay, but thankfully Dan and Holly were very responsive and came to fix it right away. Great communication. Highly recommend!

Booked this for a quick getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday. We aren’t skiers nor have we ever done a winter getaway so I had no idea what to expect. This home was exactly what we were looking for! It was modern and clean but still had that cozy feel. Obsessed with the kitchen and fireplace in the living room. It gave me that cabin vibe that I was looking for while still being modern and chic! It was close to restaurants and all the activities we had planned so getting around was easy. The guide provided by Holly and Dan was super helpful in helping us pick activities in the area as well. I cannot get over how cute and perfect this place was for a couple! 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is only 10 mins away from Killington ski area. The room and kitchen are clean and well equipped. They have everything we need after a tired ski day. Our dog loves playing in the beautiful neighborhood. Dan and Holly reply to messages very quick and provide as much help as they can. Will come back for our next Killington trip.

The place was super clean and convenient. Dan & Holly were great hosts- very easy to reach and responsive. If you are a group of four, the pull out sofa is a bit small/tight for two adults. Dan and Holly had an air mattress as well - so we used that the second night. Nice fireplace! They also provided a guide/website w local restaurant recs and info on the area! All around super convenient place- close to everything.

Very nice and pleasant stay for the weekend. We were located less than 10 min away from killington resort which was perfect because you can grab breakfast and shop at many places without going to far out of the way. The home is lighted very well and clean. Only compliant was we didn’t get to stay longer, had to come home for the Bills game. Definitely would come again!
