The condo is adorable with an amazing balcony view! It was clean and had very comfortable beds. One of the smoke detectors needed new battery’s while we were there, Holly was extremely responsive and had the issue resolved in less than an hour. It’s the perfect place to stay right in the heart of Killington - Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Dan&Hollys place for a long weekend. We had the best time! The location was perfect as we were a quick drive to some beautiful hikes and great restaurants! Dan and Holly responded very quickly anytime we had a question. The condo was beautiful and in great condition. We loved being able to use the outdoor and indoor pool along with the hot tub and sauna! We would most definitely recommend staying here and will most likely be back again! :)

This is one of the nicer ski condos I’ve stayed in.  It was renovated very nicely.  The space was great – it felt big.  I was with my son and the separate bedroom with the bunk was perfect for us – the top and the bottom bunks are both big.  There are lots of nice features and amenities throughout the unit.  The hosts were great to work with before, during and after the stay.  We had no issues, but whenever I had any questions, the hosts responded quickly -- if any issue had come up, I’m sure it would have been taken care of quickly.  The location is great as well right next to the Snowshed base area for regular season trips – this was a late spring skiing trip, and the K1 gondola lodge took maybe a minute to get to, if that.  We will definitely be back and would recommend this unit to anyone!

Great location, just minutes from killington bases by car or town bus (stop right outside the condo). Condo had plenty of room, including a nice ski rack, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable bed room. The queen-king bunk bed is a great feature for maximizing space. Electric fire place is also a nice touch. Parking was relatively close, but there is also a pull off to easily drop bags near the condo entrance while loading/unloading. This is the perfect place for 2 couples, as well as some additional space on the pull-out sleeper sofa (was not used during our stay). The high ceilings with sky lights make the place feel even roomier and let in great natural light. Check in/out and communication was also easy and excellent. Would def recommend this place/ wouldn't hesitate to book again!

This was a very spontaneous booking with no expectations and we ended up finding a place we can’t wait to come back to next year. This was our first time at Killington and staying here helped to make it very memorable. We arrived late but had no issues getting our room. For skiing, we drove over to the Ramshead parking lot which was 10 seconds away, it’s April so the crowds weren’t bad at all. The room was very cozy and had a fun condo feel with a great view on the balcony. The welcome goodies were a nice touch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to be close to the mountain. We’ll be back!

Dan & Holly’s place was perfect for our long weekend in Killington (two adults and our young son). The condo building was right across the parking lot from the snowshead base, and was an easy 10 minute walk to and from the mountain each day - there were buses, but we didn’t need them! The building also housed the pool/hot tub / gym area, which was great for us.
Dan and Holly followed up to make sure that we found everything to our liking, and we were confident that they would have been very responsive if needed.
The condo itself was perfect for our family, very cozy and clean. We cooked several meals, and had everything we needed for that as well. We’d love to return in the future if we have the chance!

We’ve stayed at Bear Necessities twice now, both times with my young son, and we absolutely love it. The condo is cozy, comfortable, and makes for such an easy little Killington getaway that we hope to keep coming back to for years.
The location is perfect, especially being so close to Ramshead, where his ski school is and where I usually start my day. You’re right near everything on the access road (restaurants, shops, etc.), but it’s also just as easy to have a low-key night in and enjoy the restaurant right in the lobby.
Big bonus having the ski shop downstairs as well. Overall, a great spot, and my son is already asking when we can come back.
Highly recommend.

I was in Killington to ski and the location provides everything you would want for a ski weekend! The complex has a great pool and spa set up, complete with a gym, hot tub and saunas. It's located across the street from the mountain, has a restaurant and ski store onsite, and plenty of parking, making everything extremely convenient. Dan & Holly are extremely organized, informative and responsive! They provide an extremely easy web site/app, which covers everything you would need from check in to check out. I was especially impressed with the quality of the bed's mattresses too. Not some flimsy rental mattresses.

Comfortable stay with all the Bear Necessities provided. The welcome treats and small touches made it feel like a home away from home, and having the hot tub, pool, sauna, steam room, spa, gym, restaurant, and snow sports store in the same building — plus the complimentary shuttle to Snowshed Base Lodge right outside — were great perks. Absolutely unbeatable location being just down the road from the mountain! The kitchen was well stocked with a coffee maker, pots, pans, and cleaning supplies. The double queen bunk bed was a fun experience and really comfortable. The hosts respond very quickly and the check in was simple. Our favorite part was just taking the elevator down to the sauna and hot tub after a long day of skiing!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour pour aller rouler en DH à Killigton. Le condo est très bien situé pour les séjour en MTB ou pour le ski! Restaurant et commodités très près en voiture ou vélo. Dan & Holly’s place was great! Very easy to find and great Killington spot. Plenty of sleeping space for the whole family! My daughter loved the queen bunk bed! And loved the skylights! A little bummed the balcony wasn’t functioning at the time due to exterior building reno as that is something we enjoy at night and morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again’

This condo was really nice and updated. Plenty of towels and clean bed linens. We initially thought we had an issue turning on the shower, but upon calling the owners (who replied immediately) discovered WE were the issue not the shower!! Holly and Dan were awesome about are embarrassing moment. This condo is located close to everything and was perfect for a girls weekend of relaxing

We loved Dan & Holly’s place!! It is such a nice place to stay- the living room is cozy with the fireplace and the beautiful view of the mountains. We also loved laying on the top bunk and looking out the big skylight in the bedroom! This place is so close to the mountain, it made our ski mornings so easy! There is also a place to eat in the building and a distillery with a great view of the mountain walking distance away. Dan & Holly’s guidebook was extremely helpful and we used many of their recommendations for places to go in town. Overall, we had a great trip with an amazing place to come back to each night. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again in the future!!

Great place to stay for a weekend of skiing at killington. Couldn’t be closer to the mountain and convenient to the town and places to eat. Super clean space and comfortable bed. Would stay here again.

Great location with an easy warm up walk across the base area parking lot to the ski lifts. The unit has an updated and well appointed kitchen. The bathroom is updated as well and the shower has excellent pressure and hot water. There are updated synthetic wood floors throughout. The bed was comfortable. The unit is ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. The 40 year old building is showing its age. The in-floor building heat did not quit but opening skylight and sliding door some kept the temperature to a manageable level where I could sleep. I enjoyed my stay and the skiing.

I rented Dan & Holly’s place as a getaway for myself and 3yo son to enjoy some snowboarding at Killington. The space was perfect for our long weekend, and the proximity to the lifts, snow tubing, and restaurants could not have been better. I look forward to visiting again with my son in the future

Dan & Holly's place was great. Very cute. Loved the decor and the space.
Clean, comfortable and so close to the mountain. Walkable to Snoshed lodge (do have to walk down a ramp.
Could easily shuttle bus down right in front of their building.We took our car and were able to park couple 100 feet from the lodge it was great. Also easy very short drive to the rams head or K1 parking lot. The amenities were great. The pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna all wonderful. Located on lower floor in the building.
We will definitely stay here again.

This experience is exactly what AirBnb is famous for! Everything was exactly as stated including the place and the communication. The property was appropriately priced and hosts were excellent. The location is excellent, and you can take the shuttle or walk to the lifts. We will staying here again on our next trip to Killington.
