Perfect Ski Retreat
My (now grown-up) son and I have been visiting Killington from the UK to ski for over twenty years, and we find Bearmont is the perfect location and accommodation for us. It is situated in a quiet woodland area just off the Killington Road. We have our own bedroom and bathroom, and there is a well-equipped kitchen. Just a short drive to the ski slopes and the local restaurants, and perfect for chilling out in the evenings in the cosy and comfy lounge. 2026 is the third year we have stayed in this property and we plan to be back again next winter.

Lovely location in the woods! Well appointed condo, although the "AC" is not central air...
Positive: Really cool mountain condo - was very well appointed, very clean, hosts are very communicative. Lovely location.
Negative: AC was limited to a "windowless" unit in the living room but not the bedrooms. Condos at VT ski areas generally don't have central AC because they didn't need it in when most condos were built in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s... But recent summers in VT like 2025 have had nasty heat waves. Sorry to the climate change deniers but summers in VT can now get hot even in the mountains. So booking.com and AirBNB should be more explicit about air conditioning in the units they rent.... No problem in the winter when most folks will be renting this unit to enjoy the slopes at Killington.
Kitchen is small but has everything you need (except coffee filters which is weird since they have a drip coffee machine and gave ground coffee as one of the welcoming gifts).

Great stay by the slopes, even our 2 teenage girls were happy!
Positive: Close to slopes and cozy family friendly place with all the amenities
Negative: Nothing at all- just that we couldn’t stay longer!

Incredibly well-stocked condo
We loved the condo. It is one of the most well-stocked rentals we have stayed in--and we have stayed in many! There were many small touches--such as dark makeup washcloths, a jar with Q-tips and another with makeup removal pads--that really added a sense of TLC. The location, and overall design of the condo are all fabulous!
Dan and Holly were very responsive when we had some questions.
I do have a complaint about VRBO: Instead of communicating directly with Dan & Holly, we had to communicate through VRBO--either in the app or on the VRBO website--to get a message to or from them. Every time an email address was typed in, it would show up as -------@-------.---, which was not at all helpful when trying to use it as a sign-in ID!!

Summer getaway
We had a great stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and with all the kitchen equipment we needed for the meals we cooked there. The welcome basket from the hosts was a generous treat. The pool and spa facilities at the location were top notch and great to relax in after hiking. Our own Roku login allowed us to see movies we'd planned to watch at night, and our hosts helped us see the Red Sox games by loaning us their login for that. A local resident tipped us off to Camp Plymouth State Park, about a half hour away, where there are bathhouse facilities, canoe, kayak and paddle board rentals, and a short lovely Vista Trail. All in all, excellent accomodations!
