We arrived on a Monday in late June. It seems Killington is in a partial hibernation until July 2nd when summer kicks off in 2026. The Adventure Center was open on the 2nd and the Gondola opened on the 3rd. Many local restaurants are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. That said, there lots of day trips to keep one busy.

The house was gorgeous and the view was impeccable. I’ve stayed other places on the same road but nowhere has matched this view. A group of us came up for the Covered Bridges Half and this place was PERFECT for us to have “family dinner” pre-race and soothe our bodies and souls with the hot tub and smores after. Plenty of comfy seating and nooks so we didn’t feel on top of each other even on a rainy stay-indoor night.

We had a great stay at ThreeBears. Good location, lovely view and plenty of space in the house. The furniture was all very comfortable, the decor unique and PacMan and ping pong got lots of use. Thrilled we were able to bring the dogs. It was nice this time of year, but I can imagine how perfectly cozy it would be for ski season.

I stayed at ThreeBears during late March for 4 days and 3 nights. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else for my future stays in Killington. They have such a beautiful home with so much to do. I loved how easy it was to get to and how close it was to things, but it still felt like you were by yourself in the mountains. Dan & Holly were great at messaging me to make sure everything was going well and were quick to respond to any questions I had. We had a lot of fun in the hot tub, playing many board games that they had at the house, playing ping pong, and my all time favorite… playing digdug on their arcade machines. Truly a great experience and thank you Dan & Holly for allowing me into your beautiful home!

Dan and Holly were amazing hosts and really helped me and my friends out after we made a mistake with a previous reservation. They replied super quickly and gave us a few different options the same night we were on our way to Vermont, which we really appreciated. The Airbnb was very clean, nicely furnished, and great for bigger groups. We also loved all the amenities the place had, and the basement play area was such a fun bonus for our group.

Our family absolutely loved this accommodation. The location was close to the ski mountain with amazing tranquil views. The house was cozy and the game room was perfect for entertaining after enjoying daytime activities on the mountain. There was a nearby waterfall/stream that was audible from the bedrooms that completed the experience. The hosts were extremely attentive and a pleasure to work with. The host was very thoughtful. I had mentioned we were staying there for my son’s 16th birthday and they put up decorations. I was so surprised, it was such a kind gesture. The home was extremely clean. There was nothing they didn’t think of. From the local recommendations, to all the items in the home for all to use. The mountains were a beautiful site to wake up to. The hot tub and fire pit were wonderful to have . The ping pong table and arcades were fun. It was quiet and peaceful, yet close to some delish restaurants. 3 teens and 2 adults- not one single complaint or something we wished the home had. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Holly & Dan.

The hill down to the fire pit and chairs was a bit steep but the outdoor area was amazing to use!

Our time at Dan and Holly’s home was nothing short of magical. It was located in a private, scenic area and was spacious enough for our party of 8, and very kid friendly. My friends and I had the most magical weekend at the cabin- we arrived at night and seeing the beautiful views in the morning was truly a special moment. The place is 3 floors! And every bedroom has a beautiful view. The beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. We cooked almost every meal and felt very at home. The Three Bears is an amazing place! The views of the mountains are breathtaking! This home has so many nice features including a large hot tub, a firepit with Adirondack chairs, extra large tv's and a fun game room with a ping pong table. I would highly recommend staying here. Holly and Dan were great to work with! We had a little glitch with the coffee pot and they were quick to respond.
The house is beautiful and fit our two families perfectly. The game room was an added bonus to keep the kids busy at night since the weather did not not cooperate and the adults could relax comfortably in the hot tub.
When the weather cleared, the view of the mountains was breathtaking! We were sorry that we were unable to use the firepit, again because of the weather. I am sure it is great to sit by the fire and looking at the stars.
Staying in Holly and Dan's house is like being in your own home. It is very comfortable and has everything you need.

Great place! It's cozy, clean, and close to the ski resorts if you plan to ski in Killington.
Has great amenities for having fun with friends and has separate heating control for each room which is great!
TV screens were also great!

Just returned from a weekend trip with some friends and we were all very impressed with Holly and Dan's place. i would highly recommend staying there if you get the chance. It is not far from the slopes and some great restaurants.

This accommodation was cozy and well-equipped for a winter stay, with easy access to nearby ski resorts. Everything needed for a comfortable visit was provided, and the hosts kept in touch to ensure a smooth experience. There’s no shortage of things to do here, with plenty of indoor activities to enjoy when you're not hitting the slopes.

Home is lovely! A few friends and some of their kids traveled for a weekend getaway to ski. Home was perfect for our group. We loved the basement game room and hot tub.The resort and bars are very close by too.

Our hosts for the property where we stayed were amazing and attentive to our needs! There are not many properties that can accommodate my physical needs and the hosts worked very hard to find the right home for me to stay at so I could have a successful adaptive MTB lesson at Killington Bike Park over the weekend. Not only that, they made sure ThreeBears could accommodate my friends and family as well! Bravo for their efforts!

We truly enjoyed our stay. Dan & Holly were excellent hosts and made us feel comfortable during our stay. We liked the location near killington resort and mountain bike trails. The house included all the amenities that we needed. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit outside, and the beautiful mountain view. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you for a fun and relaxing stay at ThreeBears! Our first family visit to VT was a success, and it was so nice to come home to Dan&Holly’s place to relax and unravel. The basement full of games was both fun for our kids and nostalgic (and fun) for us :)

We loved our stay. We were working remotely for the week - and had terrific wifi connectivity, peace & quiet and gorgeous mountain views. But it also would have been great for a group getaway given the amount of space, ping pong and hot tub. It's just a quick drive to Killington restaurants and activities - and 30 mins to other nice areas to explore (e.g., Woodstock).

Three bears était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait! Chacun avait son espace et les aires communes étaient vraiment très bien. Chaque petit détail était bien pensé du code de la porte personnalisé jusqu'au fonctionnement de la télévision. Si je suis honnête, ce n'est pas le logement que j'avais réservé au départ, mais rapidement on m'a informé qu'il y avait des travaux extérieurs à ce logement et on m'a offert un logement supérieur. La communication avec les hôtes était rapide et facile. Toutes les consignes et informations sur notre séjour étaient claires. On ne pouvait pas demander mieux et nous sommes impatients d'y retourner pour la saison de ski.

We found our stay at Dan & Holly's place very relaxing and enjoyable. It is very comfortable and spacious with a homey feel and is surrounded by Vermont greenery. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, which was a lovely way to decompress. The fact that the backyard overlooks beautiful rolling mountains was another huge plus. We're so happy we chose this wonderful, peaceful spot for our family getaway and we highly recommend the Three Bears house for other travelers!

We had such a wonderful stay at Three Bears! It is an incredible mountain house with every convenience and amenity! The location is just incredible and the views of the mountains are just breathtaking! Our boys absolutely loved the downstairs game area and hot tub on the deck! We were so grateful for Dan & Holly’s communication throughout the process and during our stay! They were so accommodating and understanding of our dynamics. We would absolutely love to return to Three Bears again! We have stayed at numerous Airbnbs throughout Killington and this was by far one of the best! Thank you to Dan & Holly for everything!

This cabin is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting. It was quiet and comfortable. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a nice stay. The big screen tv was an added bonus that we enjoyed using. There is a nice bakery for breakfast called Dream Maker Bakers at 5501 Us 4 in Killington and a grocery with gift shop at 2023 Killington Rd, Killington.

Fantastic private 3-story home 5 minutes away from Killington Ski Resort. So impressed with the mountain and sunrise views from the decks and every major room. Extremely well furnished, we just brought some groceries and everything else that we needed was waiting at our fingetips. Very charming architecture and furnished with all the modern necessities. Home was larger than advertised and in perfect condition. We felt this was an extreme value for the rates they charged. The welcome gifts were also a very nice touch. Would certainly stay here again!

Stayed at Three Bears for my birthday with friends in March and it was just what we needed! Dan was more than accommodating! Check in was perfect. We had 2 feet of snow and it was dealt with professionally! It’s a 6 min drive to mtn and free shuttles to restaurants in town! 10/10 would stay here again and I highly recommend!

We had a terrific stay at Dan & Holly’s for a ski weekend with friends at Killington. The house was lovely, cozy, clean, had everything we needed - felt right at home. The views out the back of the house toward the mountains are beautiful, especially if you make it back from the mountain before sunset to savor the views from the hot tub. It was easy to make it back in time because the house is SO close to the mountain - quite convenient. Hosts were very responsive and checkin via custom key code was a breeze. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We just had a delightful stay ( mid January 2023 ) at this comfortable and cozy property. The beds were fabulous. The location is perfect for dropping in to great eastern, the firewood is ample. The hot tub is a perfect way to end a long day of skiing. When small issues arose, the property manager addressed them immediately. Great place. I would recommend this to anyone.

Everything was amazing! The property is absolutely gorgeous and just as showed in the pictures. Super close to the mountain. Hot tub was wonderful while it was snowing. The host even left us some gifts for when we checked in. Just amazing all around will definitely be coming back soon!

Words cannot describe the incredible time we had at this cabin! Right from our checkin experience to finding the place exactly as listed in the pics. We were pleased to be welcomed with a small basket of local goodies :) The cabin is very well kept and has thoughtful details in each room. Dan and Holly have really taken care of the minutest details in this cabin from the grill, to the hot tub to the fire pit and plenty of place to comfortably hang indoors and enjoy games with some wine amidst the gorgeous views - we didn't feel like stepping outside at all! This was a surprise getaway for my mom for her 70th birthday and she truly enjoyed every day in this cabin. We are definitely going to come back to enjoy some more time here!!

Words cannot describe the incredible view!! This place is perfect.
My family and I enjoyed Dan and Holly’s home this weekend on very short notice and they were nothing short of accommodating. This property worked out perfectly for us, there was plenty of room for all to sleep comfortably (8 people; 5 adults, 3 kids) and maintain some space from one another when needed! The beds were incredible! The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and the Super Nintendo game system and we all enjoyed the fire pit together at night. Our expectations were far exceeded the entire stay.
If you’re visiting Killington with a group, this is the place to do!

A well kept and cared for home, with the right combination of being easy to access but still feeling pretty remote. The mountain views are amazing! Dan and Holly were both easy to get a hold of when minor issues arose, and are more than happy to take time to discuss any local trip ideas :-) Perfect for a family.

We had an incredible summer Killington (long) weekend at Holly & Dan's 3Bears house. Location is pretty ideal - secluded enough to have some privacy & mountain views, but close enough that you're at Killington/Restaurants/Shops in 5-10 minutes. Everything was exactly as described, A+ all around. Thanks Holly & Dan!

Our stay at Three Bears was incredible! It was the perfect launching spot for our ski weekend at Killington. The house is the perfect size for a large group, and there was plenty of common area space for everyone to hang out. A well stocked kitchen made sure that our group had everything we needed to cook great meals. Coming home to a hot tub with incredible views was the ideal way to end the day and recover! We will definitely be looking to book Three Bears for our group ski trip next year!

Dan & Holly’s place was perfect for our two families with young kids. After a day on the slopes, the hot tub right outside the rec room was fun for parents and kiddos! My wife got the high score on pac man and we took great family photos during the sunset off the back porch with a gorgeous view. We will be back!

We had a fantastic stay. The skiing was amazing, the location is great, and the view from the hot tub is spectacular.
We rented the house for a mini family reunion and I strongly recommend it. The game room downstairs kept the kids entertained for hours.

We just returned from our ski trip, and we had a fantastic stay at Dan and Holly’s. The location is just 5 minutes away from Killington resort which is pretty convenient when all trip was planned around skiing. The house was spotless when we arrived; it was organized and very spacious. All bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped. The jacuzzi was always at the right temperature after a long day in the resort. Dan and Holly were always very responsive to any question, and they shared very detailed tips and instructions on how to make our stay more enjoyable. They even left us some welcome goodies that we could share and enjoy. We will definitely rent this house again in our future ski trips!

Perfect home for a group skiing Killington, quick 5min drive to K1 and even shorter to Skyeship Gondola. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the large TV, ping pong table, hot tub and firepit ensure everybody is entertained. Check-in is flawless and views from the home are beautiful!

Loved our stay at Three Bears. The home was perfect for our group of 11 people. Great location, we used Snowshed lodge and rented gear from Black Dog sports both less than 5 minute drive. House is cozy and provides the perfect ambience for a ski trip or winter getaway. Dan & Holly provided great service and were very responsive to our questions/concerns. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a fabulous, roomy, well-decorated and comfortable home that makes a perfect location for a group / family gathering. Plenty of diversions (ping-pong, hot tub, etc.) and lots of privacy with bedrooms on three different levels. Kitchen has high-end cookware and all the necessities — and then some (including a popular waffle maker). We had a great family vacation during ski season, but this home and its spectacular views would make a great summer base as well.
