Great place to stay for an escape to the mountains!

I’m absolutely blown away by the hospitality and communication received from our hosts. The property was magnificent for our stay. Everything was better than advertised. I was blessed to have such an amazing home away from home. We traveled 16 hours and needed to have a good meal and full nights rest before a challenging Spartan race. On our arrival we were greeted with a very pleasant welcome surprise. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The bedding was amazing and the bed was ever so comfortable. This was a great hub to explore the area too. I don’t leave reviews often but this was beyond a great experience. It was amazing. I travel a lot for both business and personal reasons. Over the years I’ve found that VRBO’s are NOT all the same. This was the best overall property and experience we have ever enjoyed! Bar none. Looking forward to returning and staying again next year for the next race.

We absolutely loved FirBear!!! The property was meticulously cared for with tastefully updated design, fun kids rooms and a luxurious master bedroom. Our hosts Holly and Dan were incredible with communication. There was never a moment when we didn’t feel welcomed. From our very clear specific instructions for check in to the check in with us after we’d arrived to make sure everything was in order…everything was handled professionally!!! The welcome goodies from Vermont were so incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We highly recommend FirBear and are looking forward to our next stay!!!! Thank you, Holly and Dan!!!!

Dan and Holly made our stay extra special. They knew we were celebrating my husband’s graduation from the police academy and they went the extra mile to decorate and even left donuts for us. Our kids loved the upstairs bedroom. They enjoyed playing on the Nintendo system and had fun using the Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. They especially loved the little loft area and the bed in the little nook area. The bathroom off the Master has a huge bathtub with jets which was an unexpected surprise. It was nice how there was shampoo, conditioner, and soap provided. With 4 kids, it was especially helpful being able to wash some of their laundry. We used the pool and hot tub over at the Spa. The kids absolutely loved it and had the best time. They swam for hours. Our teenage sons loved that there was a weight room and asked their dad to show them how to lift weights. It was cute they were so excited. It takes a lot to get teenage boys excited about something. Lastly, while we were staying at the condo, I received many emails asking if we needed anything and checking to see that we were enjoying our stay. The prompt and clear communication was really exceptional. We had a wonderful stay and it was a great experience.
